Floss

Floss is a must have at the bench and is a material I incorporate into almost every fly I tie. Floss is also versatile in that it can be used for bodies and tags as well as for dubbing loops. There are a number of different flosses on the market and all have a purpose. For most of my tying I use the premium silks but have found a few synthetics that I really like. Yes I am a floss snob, but then I have found that quality materials make quality flies, and tying with top shelf material will enhance the look of your flies.
